longhorn thanks for the informative reply . 4 months so far this year very low spot #s which you can view at this link . spaceweather.com They show just the # for the day . Needs to be checked to ensure pattern is still in play . But interesting indeed . Sun on top left of link .

HK weather stuck right at 70 day and night here. Usually pushing mid 80s. We had a few but mainly high 60s/low 70s.

PROFESSOR VALENTINA ZHARKOVA BREAKS HER SILENCE AND CONFIRMS “SUPER” GRAND SOLAR MINIMUM As a lifelong ham radio addict, I've been following solar cycles since 1957. This professor is not without controversy but she has a good track record, which is more than you can say for Al Gore and the IPCC echo chamber. From the article (my bolding): "Professor Valentina Zharkova gave a presentation of her Climate and the Solar Magnetic Field hypothesis at the Global Warming Policy Foundation in October, 2018. The information she unveiled should shake/wake you up. Zharkova was one of the few that correctly predicted solar cycle 24 would be weaker than cycle 23 — only 2 out of 150 models predicted this. Her models have run at a 93% accuracy and her findings suggest a Super Grand Solar Minimum is on the cards beginning 2020 and running for 350-400 years. The last time we had a little ice age only two magnetic fields of the sun went out of phase. This time, all four magnetic fields are going out of phase." If her predictions are accurate, we could begin to see the cooling affect crop production significantly beginning in 2020. I have more faith in her predictions, based on her track record, than the IPCC.
