wrt "phony debate" . . .
I'm old enough to remember when Global Cooling was the rage in the 1970's.
They took away our freon and our aerosol sprays.
They guaranteed that in 20-years Miami and Los Angeles would be in the ocean.
Then, 30-years later .. nothing had changed . . in fact I lived in Miami during those 30-years.
SO . . the new threat was Global Warming . . guaranteed destruction in 10- to 20- years.
Now, 20-years later . . . nothing has changed.
It sure does seem like a phony debate to me.
Only used to take money from corporations.
I'd really rather have corporations keep as much money as they can so they can keep hiring poor- and middle- class people and giving them great lives.

If these thoughts rub the board the wrong way, please don't ban me . . . just tell me and I'll stop posting here.
Let's be civil.
Thanks !!
