Common sense is often times uncommon. Lots of people on SI have their technical indicators, but the reason for the declines over the past week have absolutely nothing to do with technicals. It all started with Trump increasing tariffs. Prior to that weekend, the Nasdaq hit new all time highs.
Granted there was some churning since SPX hit new all time highs this year, but this decline is all about trade tensions and the inevitable slower growth that will result from increasing tariffs.
And I do not mean to disparage technicals in the least. But sometimes fundamental events Trump over technicals.

Are you sure Kirk? Many say (proven) the Charts forecast the news. I see it all the time.
There's several that have called this down move weeks ago..
