your first sentence is pretty good . . I can't disagree with anything there BUT . . we already have all of those things and have for so long! The USA has the most progressive taxation in the world! AND .. we have a welfare system in place to help those who are needy. All forms of socialism have brought poverty and death to the people: Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Mussolini, Castro (2), Chavez, Maduro, . . . and it is STILL happening . . those last four are still in power or have been in the last 10-years. Two of them are currently leading Socialist countries into the grave. Your statement > unfettered capitalism we're seeing now is running amok and destroying the planet. Lots of deaths and poverty, both in the third world and in America itself, can be attributed to it, from toxic waste dumps to war as a racket. is just false talking points put out by your leaders. Tell me where capitalism is leading to deaths. I can show you where capitalism is leading to freedom and higher class living around the world. Hey .. it's been a pleasure .. you're a good guy.
