I hate to be posting to this thread, but just wanted to say, briefly, that's an illegal naked short position that is suspected. Not the legal kind that you're talking about.

So what kind of money are we talking? If you got money, you can short anything you want. Duh. (and yes, Canada is notorious for illegal short selling, you got money they got answers)
