Only 21 installations to date in Cali. . Lol. Musk had been hyping that con job for three or four years. I know one couple that has it. I got into an friendly argument with the wife one day about whether or not it would be popular. She said yes. I said no and that Musk was a scammer. Since they drove a Model S and had the solar roof, they were totally brainwashed. I wish I had known at the time just how few of those installations he had sold.

California data shows that only 21 solar roof systems were connected by the state's three investor-owned utilities as of February 28. Only a "few others" are connected elsewhere in the U.S., according to a former Tesla employee. Tesla, not surprisingly, decided not to comment, despite the fact that Musk once called the acquisition of Solar City a "no brainer".
