Note on Zenith's site: zenith.com no mention of NCTV. Zenith has been promising a NCTV for the past two years. RCA's NCTV is sold out (50,000 units in 1997) and is expanding into Canada.

Not sure what to make of it. One possibility is that Intel and Microsoft are negotiating with Zenith to collabotate on the next generation WebTV, to be VSB transmission compatible.

Possibility, also, of Intel and MSFT each purchasing a 5% stake in Zenith, similar to Sony's 5% purchase of General Instrument (NLV). Sony paid $25 per share for NLV. $25/share also seems like a fair price for INTC and MSFT to pay for ZE...An extra $165 million in the till; just what the doctor ordered....
