Here is a perfect example of 'the blind leading the blind'. Can you believe - me, who only last week did not even know about the different types of REITS, has started a thread!<g>

I wanted "About REITs and your portfolio" to be an easy to locate, general information thread, hence the name. I hope it will serve as a collect-all, general purpose place for the REIT community, and that the other threads will post when they want to share something. While newcomers such as myself will benefit from the resources, I expect others will as well.

I must tell you that again your posts have been a motivating factor for "About REITS...". There are many timeless posts with a universal value which are buried in the archives. Yours are fairly easy to track, but others have a shorter life and are unfortunately viewed by very few. If you, or anyone, have any you want to revive -please do.

By the way, RSE, I see applied for REIT status. Last week, I think.
I could be wrong on the date. A change in yield must surely follow.
I have an eye open for paired-share listings. Would they be listed by another name... maybe "specialty".

Hope you're not still in computer hell!
