CO2 is only half as thermally conductive as air.

You need to get the mechanism correct. AGW is due to the increase in IR absorbance because of the increase in [CO2]. If one assumed the conductivity was critical think of this at 400ppm it would be like having an 8"x8" square piece of insulation in a 1000 square foot attic.
