Jill suggested gettin the "latest" browser, but as far as I can tell my AOL software is the latest.

I don't think AOL's browser does "frames".

I do think you can use Netscape or IE with AOL and would strongly recommend it to get the full features of the Internet.

Brooks,

AOL uses a version of Microsoft Explorer 3.0, which has the two bugs you mentioned. If you want to live with it for a few more months, the next version of AOL should fix the problem. Also, you probably want to disable the pop-up feature for now.

Or, as Beavis said, download one of the newer browsers....it should work on top of your AOL connection (sign in to AOL, then open the other browser). You may need to look in the help areas of AOL to see how to do this.
