R.D., what I mean by "always on" is like you have with a Local Area Network. You just launch your browser and get on. No need to dial in.

As far as bundling goes, you get both regular phone service and internet access with ADSL for one monthly fee. Some of the "bandwidth" is dedicated for each. All done digitally, of course.
