My wireless mouse died and I have not replaced it.

Stephen, Thanks for your inputs. Here is what I have determined.

1. For now the problem is gone.

2. The old failed wireless mouse was still powered up.

3. The old mouse moved the cursor without oscillation when I tried to use it. (It moves the cursor, it does not click).

4. I totally deactivated the old wireless mouse - turned off and removed the Blue Tooth interface plug in.

Without the apparent interference from the old wireless mouse, the problem for now is gone.

Minor victories are always fun.
