Exactly...Politics is being exposed, it has no room in finding solutions.

RIP!

Great points!

Based on recent actions, it seems that the dims are losing big on the immigration issue. I view the 2-week delay as a win-win for DJT

It’s amazing how every winning decision by DJT is portrayed negatively by the media - even the right leaning ones. As unseen listed in his tweet thread, POTUS has been brilliant strategically throughout the entire Immigration battle.

Also agree about the left moving way left - the beast is out in the open and appears to be uncontrollable. And the Fake News Media, that would normally successfully disguise the left’s intent from the voters, are deranged as well.

The stunning thing about the Iran episode is how the media (and this includes the WSJ) is only interested in dissecting the decision making of a sitting President against a hostile country that just attacked us. They’ve become so insane they can’t even see how seditious/treasonous they’ve become.

There is an asymmetry on the illegal resident problem - Facts vs Emotion. And emotion is 100% on the open border side of things. Facts don't matter (as Scott Adams constantly reminds us).

By this point everyone knows or knows of an illegal family. And to know them is to love them. "They are such good people, I'd hate to see something bad happen to these nice people."

I saw this personally last night going to dinner with friends. Each of them had a story, Either their church was sponsoring an illegal family, or a family member knew and loved an illegal family. And they were all indignant about Trump rounding the up and sending them home.

I knew it was completely emotional for them so I stayed quiet on the bigger picture.

I don't know what the answer is.

Either we get some deal or the dims are viewed as unwillingly to compromise and look out for the interests or citizens
I suspect they will make some bad-faith offer that they know Trump can't accept. Then the media praises them and blames Trump for not compromising. It's what they always do.
