Jyoti: I am completely out of the emerging markets,got out about a year ago,unscathed I must say,just lucked out I suppose.Not going to go in there any time soon.

Jyoti, I see you come here for posting occasionally: Please feel you at home here, too. I read the Value Investing thread occasionally and I have noticed your posts there. Now on your Malay. cos. you mention, my 2› would be in any case to confirm that their balance sheets are of decent figures and that they have a respectable auditor. Frankly, I have never heard of the names you cite, but that doesn't mean anything. After all, that's one of the reasons why I initiated the thread! So Welcome to Asia! Thomas
