Hi Maurice, Glaciers melting are primarily the result of limited snowfall from the mountains upper regions. I have no doubt that with the SGM we'll see greater rainfall and snowfall in the coming years. I almost always grimace when I see a headline about global warming. The concept was all about taxing normal people so the political types would have more power. Sad and Fake News abounds in great quantity. Bob

Advanced economies can no longer grow because they were cast. First the arms. then the legs. Next the trunk and finally the neck. Cannot even feed themselves. Result? For over a decade the Central Banks spoon fed these cast economies via quantitative Easing. Thrown money at the problems of the economies. Trump got elected by promising to break the cast and free the limbs of the US economy by rolling back regulations to start moving again. But the arms' muscles atrophied. Cannot carry any weight, as a result Powell is being pushed to go back to low interest rates. Christine Lagarde, going to the ECB we'll feed the EU with a bigger spoon as a means to get Europe to grow. The English, want to break all the cast and move like normal body but there is a fear BREXIT will make the country wheelchair bound and will collapse.
