That why when I got this Dell workstation back in Dec 2016, I opted for Windows 7 Pro. It came with Windows 10 Pro media as well.

If I knew that all the programs and peripherals would still work under Windows 10, I would have ordered the computer with Windows 10 Pro preinstalled.

Network problems all day on Windows 10, MS and Dell can not figure it out,

Excuse me but I am confused, What problem are you having, can you be a little specific? Also how are you getting Dell and Microsoft to troubleshoot your system Do you have some kind of contract with them or are you paying for a trouble call?

Thanks

Network problems all day on Windows 10, MS and Dell can not figure it out, we tried about everything you can image and no luck,

So, I put the old HDD in the box and it works 100%. It was a bad install of Windows 10. I will clone this drive to the SSD, install the SSD and try again in the fall. Wasted 2 days.

Ron

Sorry I am still a little confused Your entire episode with Network problems doesn't make sense if you state the problem ended up being the modem, if the problem went away after changing hard drives?

Personally, have found in general network problems are more often related to the modem / router than the software. An occasional resetting your modem router might be the best bet
