GSTRF information from Readware via AOL Motley Fool's LOR board and SI LOR board. From his Jan 17 post:

1998 1999 2000
REVENUE - 614M 1.344MM
EBITDA - 515M 1.2296MM where MM=Billion (real $$)

The cost of satellite and ground station infrastructure is expensed up front. So EBITDA will be the valuation number to consider.

You have been right-on in your assessment of the affects of Asian stuff on US economy so far. There will be some effect on particular industries. Automobiles for a short time, alot of consumer stuff, will be cheaper but I don't think the disparity will last long. It can't. The Asian factories need the US dollars so they won't undercut the US prices by much. This is contrary to a report I heard tonight on public radio that foreign made automobiles will be priced thousands less in the near future. The currency market is not too unlike the US stock market in the wheeling and dealing from what I gather.
