Organizing as such is a Dangerous plan. You could end up with at least two major problems if you are successful. An SEC violation of illegal proxy solicitation and/or if more than 5% voting shares "join the group" you could have a 13d problem if you don't file for the group.

I havn't priced it recently, but if you want to do an ex-company legal proxy solicitation it would probably cost upwards of $200,000 for legal and notification costs.

Wish I could offer a legal, better and cheaper way, but the rules are made to protect management against hostile interference of business.
