Christine and Carol, still on vulnerability eh! Here are a few short scenarios that point to something.

A. big tough guy, most always a little unapproachable and moody, you find him one day and he lets out about this little puppy he has and how it got stuck under the radiator or something and you see how deep inside he's not only tough but sensitive....

B. whimpy guy, always shys away from a rucus and gets teased, then one day you trip in a crowded place and everyone laughs at you, but of all people.. the guy helps you to your feet and stares down the guys making fun of you...

C. sports jock, kinda leader of the football pack, average in classes or at business.. then one day he drops a book and geez its Emily Dickenson or Sylvia Plaith or something really unexpected and you pick it up and he's got margin notes all over and out drops some of his poetry...

-----

The point being, one's suddenly seeing a surprize positive side of a person who in you're mind was almost typecast... in one mode its showing an unexpected vulnerability, in another an unexpected sensitivity or depth of interest or compassion. That process of revelation about a person, not the act or interest itself, can be exciting and refreshing to experience in knowing someone.

What I was talking about is how incredibly sexy a man who is a normal, strong, masculine guy can be when he is healthy enough and has enough TRUE strength to reveal his FEELINGS when he is with a woman he trusts in a romantic relationship, and can be very honest

Yes, this is definitely a good description of the sexy vulnerability/emphatic concept. Any man who has those characteristics will be very "lucky" I think. <<vbg>>

Dear Chrissy, I wish I could find something to disagree with you about, so we could have a rip-roaring, knock down debate. But alas, I fear our thoughts run mostly along the same lines. Maybe, its a generational thing.
