What nonsense. The only Republicans in the South for a very long time were carpet baggers from the North. They were hated. It was nearly a century before Republicans were able to get elected to office in the South. Once again, you make absurd statements. The KKK was a Dixiecrat (Southern Dem) organization. The Klan was made up of mostly Civil War Vets and had both Dems and republicans in it.
