Dear Crossy - before I ordered the notebook, I almost got a K6 desktop unit from Cybermax when it advertised a 266 with an AGP graphic card, but when I called, they said that AMD and them were still testing it - and I could only get the PCI graphic card - so I figured they were still working out the kinks. While I like the notebook mobility, it is still far from a desktop replacement. I have 80M SDRAM and 4G Ultra DMA - surprisingly, the drive is an IBM unit! But the Neomagic card just doesn't cut it with a 13.3 Screen.

SYBS is killing me right now. Not sure what I want to do with it! But then, it's only money <g>

When are you coming over to the States? Make sure you see the MOUSE <G>!

best wishes, Bosco

Hi Crossy, Bosco, Dave and ALL~ This market is looking more like the soap-opera country as a whole. We can't just sit around and wait for normalacy because that commodity doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Time for something reckless, I suppose. Anybody for earnings plays??

I propose driller ESV (Thurs.) and/or CYMI (Fri.)

Regards,

Rick

See I wasn't joking about that Intel relationship:

WATCH OUT, HERE COMES INTEL--With reports flying about that Intel will debut its proprietary 3-D graphics engine next month, the company is already making deals. Intel is said to be partnering with C-Cube Microsystems in mid-February in a collaborative engineering effort. The companies will be jointly developing a glueless interface between an Intel 2-D/3-D chip and a C-Cube DVD device, sources close to Intel said. The interface will be very cost effective and potentially could be used in a sub-$1,000 PC. Many graphics accelerator companies are "bracing for impact."
