Off Topic To all: About a tape backup device called Backer. Does anybody know anything about this? A company called Danmere makes them. There's an internal version (ISA card), and a parallel port version. It hooks up to a VCR (or camcorder), and you can back up your hard disk/files on standard VCR tapes. They claim up to 4 gigs on a 4 hour tape. The price is $69. This looks like a very cheap way to back up the hard disk on your home computer. They claim to have error checking but I don't have any info on reliability. Does anyone know if there are problems with this device?

I believe the shares are fairly priced here given the short term revenue picture. My homework leads me to believe they will be booking increasing revenues related to Oracle 8 and large increases in Fee Income. I hope QNTM will have similar success in ramping of Revenues related to DLT and better results in DD. This whole sector still appears to be the whipping boy for some time to come. I need to read some post here and find out what hit us today! Best of Luck Egg
