****OFF Subject**** The White House may be in charge of "perception management" but the electorate should be in charge of "delusion Management". After the OJ trial, the Watergate, Iran gate, North gate, Linda Trip Gate, Waco, Starr Gate, etc., it is difficult to not have disdain for the legal process. That issue is much larger than Clinton and his purported affairs. Also, remember that Eisenhower, Johnson, Kennedy, and Nixon all had affairs. Affairs are not even on the political radar in Europe or Asia. I think Starr may actually be investigating Clinton to find out why he is so attractive to the women. Starr clearly is not a very attractive guy and he is an undisputed political hatchett man for the right wing. He wired Linda Trip without legal authority from a judge. So much for his respect for the legal process. Starr pursues Clinton for suborning perjury, but Starr suborns perjury by threatening these people with jail if they do not tell him what he wants to hear. At least Clinton does not do what Star does. There is a woman still in jail for refusing to testify for Star. The system has gone nuts!To speak of morality and Washington D.C. in one sentence boggles the mind. (You need to go see "Wag the Dog".) If Clinton lies about his alleged girl friends more power to him. At least he does not kiss and tell, same for the intern. They should not have to testify against themselves. Here is what is going to happen with this story: The intern will not change her testimony. The tapes will be thrown out because they were illegally acquired. The contents of the tapes will be explained by the assertion that the intern felt that Linda Tripp's interest was suspicious and she just told her what she wanted to hear.( Not under oath). There is no way Starr can prove any of these charges incontrovertibly. Thus, they can only be used for the political purpose of smearing Clinton. They do the American public a hugh disservice by preoccupying the executive branch with this BS while serious domestic and international issues compete for his time.
