If it turns north as projected it is more a water / storm surge event. For wind damage it will really need to hit the coast.

Flooding is not covered under normal insurance (commercial policies do cover business interruption) except under the Federal Flood program and that has strict property limits.

Its the wind damage which really impacts insurers and reinsurers.
