HI Kirk, No I've not driven a tesla. I've driven a Volt and a hydrogen cell GM experimental. Electric cars do have great torque - a great feature. The wasted energy required to make electric cars and their required batteries are a gross underestimate of energy use. It is a greenie's folly. ICE's are here to stay as they are inexpensive and will serve the emerging markets and developed rural markets with great inexpensive transportation. The total global warming due to CO2 and cows farting is a joke. If the Dems think they can call that science, they really are ignorant. They also are fools if they think the Dairy farmers in Wisconsin will vote for that line of crap - pun intended. <smile> Or the natural gas drillers/fracers in West Virginia or pennsylvania will vote for no natural gas pipelines. You can write off Texans, who are quite fond of making the fracing tools. New Mexico and Texas enjoy the economic development of the Permian and the refining / petrochemical makers don't buy that crap either. 2020 is going to be the biggest landslide election we've seen in our life time's. The DIMMS have chosen a fool's play by believing that which just isn't so. They believe their fear mongering will scare the people into believing those false truths. The intelligence of the American voter is greater than these elitists believe. We'll have confirmation of that in about 14 months. In between enjoy the circus show! Bob
