let's compare apples with apples - crimes against the Constitution (Nixon, Mitchell, Ollie North et al) vs apparent stupidity if the facts are as alleged.

Ollie North ran his own State & Defense Depts. with the connivance of his superiors in the White House. You know what the Nixon crew did, operating as a self-contained above-the-law super-government answerable to no one. I listened to the "smoking gun" tape on a visit to the archives in VA and that was chilling. This is sophomoric idiocy at the worst and about equal to what Jefferson (what a funny coincidence!) was charged with vis a vis Sally Hemmings.

If you think the high crimes and misdemeanors of the Nixon era and the Ollie North operations are equal to what Clinton has been charged with (but after years of investigations costing millions of tax dollars) but nothing substantive proved to date, then you have something wrong with your ability to analyze things - your sense of proportion is way out of kilter in that case.

And by no means am I condoning anything Clinton has alleged to have done. You just need to know the difference between high crimes against the American people and foolish peccadillos if in fact they occurred.

There's a huge difference between strong women, Duncan, and ruthless women. You seem to confuse the two. Besides, I tend to think it's would be more the so-called Christian faction(Jerry Falwell's followers) who are behind the dirty tricks. As far as Hillary is concerned, I've never been a fan; however, when the day finally arrives and the USA matures enough to elect the first female President, she would be as qualified as most of the men that have been elected.
