I can be quite polished. And the best way to find out if we agree on what constructive criticism is would be to begin right here and now.

I think Trump is self-destructing. His tariffs are the main cause behind the recession that most expect next year. By most I mean 66% of company CFOs and about 50% of Americans. The inverted yield curve is a good harbinger of recessions 12 to 18 months down the road.
Now liberal or not, no one wants a recession because lots of people get hurt. I think Trump got in over his head and underestimated the strength of the Chinese economy and the resolve of its people. And in case you are wondering, I don't support the Chinese. I agree that they pursue intellectutual property theft and are basically pseudo capitalists. However, I would've handled this very differently than Trump has. I would have brokered trade treaties with our European and Asian allies first and then put global pressure on the Chinese. Trump chose to go it alone and the result looks like recession in USA. I call that self-destructive behavior.

""constructive criticism" - ..... but I sincerely doubt that we agree on what those two words mean."

So do I ... as I discovered when I tried to have those self-same "constructive Criticisms/Discussions" with his/her "KIND".

Unfortunately there is NO CHANGING THE MINDS OF THESE INDIVIDUALS ....

.... HOWEVER, what one needs to do is to is to keep putting SANE AND SENSIBLE COMMENTS OUT THERE, Comments that often REFUTE AND DISPROVE THEIR BRAINWASHED GARBAGE, NOT because one is trying to Convince THEM, which is a fruitless exercise, BUT because of any 3rd Party who may be reading or hearing what one has to say, and thereby EXPOSE these Brainwashed Individuals for who they are and for what they stand for.

It is to better Inform those 3rd Parties which is the Main Driver of the EFFORT.

Trump said he'd make MX pay for the wall, pay off the federal debt, bring all the factories home, and cut off Planned Parenthood.

He stupidly begged the Mexican not to say they wouldn't pay for his vanity wall. He more than doubled the budget deficit. His trade war has cost at least 300K jobs and will soon be costing Americans thousands in higher costs due to his tariffs. He financed Planned Parenthood for three years so far. His welfare for farmers is bigger than the 09 auto bailout. And its every year. A drastic failure.

Now he's confessing to treasonous extortion of a foreign country to help him rig the next election. He betrayed a spy for the US. At Helsinki, he wanted to hand over the former US ambassador to Russia to Putin he could have him beaten to death.

IF they had any decency, his anti-American supporters would hang their heads in shame. Trump is the most disgusting President in our history.
