Checked some of the posts way back earlier today - someone said Bill has done an excellent job as President - just WHAT has he done? As I understand it our economic expansion started with Reagan, faltered a bit under Bush, ("Read my lips, NO NEW TAXES!" he lied), and has done better since Republicans took a small majority in the Congress.
Tax cuts create jobs, more disposable income, ad infinitum. In Slicks first term he put in one of the largest tax increases in history - any tax breaks since have been from the Rep's Contract with Amerca.

Also saw a cute one for those not going back so far in this thread.

Clinton re: steadying markets "Sell Cisco, buy Crisco." Cute one.

When I was starting up my business a woman who was doing a temp job for me applied for the position of corporate mistress by saying something very similar to the quote above. I bought her a drink and gave her an exit interview to understand the phenomena better.

I saw her six months later at a tradeshow with another young entrpreneur. I guess one tends to succeed at the goals one sets for oneself.
