Her congressional testimony about Foster's death was extremely embarrrassing to the White House. In one email message she sent to a co-worker, Tripp called Nussbaum and some of the other White House lawyers "the Three Stooges".

Huh? I've referred to many people as idiots. Has yet to bring down a government.

I believe these are serious crimes in Europe, as well as America, are they not?

Basically, all it's gonna come down to in the end is lying in his deposition to Jones's lawyers. Extremely stupid (if he really did have an affair with Lewinsky). But then most men DO lie about adultery. And no, in Europe this wouldn't be considered a big deal. They are laughing already.

Christine,

That was/is very interesting. I may be repeating myself (mind is half gone) but I am resisting "hanging" Clinton until after the mishmash of information is verified. We've got one weasel in the hen house for sure...it'll either be Star (for fabricating) or Clinton (for fornicating.)

As for Europe I have heard it is very common for people in power to have affairs (supposedly it is EXPECTED.) On the other hand it is considered a MAJOR PROBLEM to have the affairs made public. So IF Mr. CLinton had an affair he would've been looked upon as "quite a guy"..but..if he's exposed he'll be viewed as "quite a heel."

<<(unless there is a little war event to distract us).>> Did you see "Wag the Dog?"

<<last Saturday Clinton acknowledged his affair with Gennifer Flowers, according to the N.Y. Times. During the campaign he vehemently denied it, although he acknowledged causing pain in his marriage.>> This is one of many reasons I have a problem with his credibility. This MAY be a result of tactics he developed as a child due to his father's drinking problems. I understand one author of his biography said Bill has basically two personalities and that he has recognized this and developed it to serve him politically. I don't know how true this is...but it would seem to me he's a few personalities short when compared to the rest of the field <wink>

Better mossie (sp?)...just learning how to do that down here in Texasland :-)
