Vincent - are there any performance differences between the two OSs? will one's T-90 run faster or slower with IRIX? is there any penalty having your Cray, binary compatable with your O2? any coments? AFAIK, there is no binary compatibility involved. This announcement is for Irix features that weren't available on Unicos, and now they are. While this might not sound very interesting, I think it is because it indicates that we're actually coming closer to integrating the good stuff from Irix and Unicos into one OS. Perhaps others know more. Alexis, Mark? -justinb BTW : Does anybody know what after hours trading numbers look like? I'm not sure if I should subscribe to Chris's opinion, or brushwd's. This is not due to some company thing on my part, I'm just not very astute when it comes to bookeeping and such.
