Justin-

>>>Operating income for the second quarter,
excluding restructuring and acquisition charges, was $3.4 million. <<<

If you divide 3,400,000 by 187,874,000 (shares of stock) you get earnings of 1.8 cents/share unless my calculator is wrong.

Happy Hunting

Yes the announcement about Irix products on Crays allows for
running MPI codes across heterogeneous SGI enviroments (Unicos,MK,
and Irix machines). Also BSD, etc.. The announcement explains
more about what each part is and how it helps.

Also in the past other things like the science libraries were
integrated (some SGI and Cray) to form the SGI/Cray Science
Library (SCSL). Also the F90 and C++ compilers on all major
lines was dramatically improved. MPI 6 months ago was rewritten
and can run across multiple SGI's using over 256 processors
on multiple machines (that is as much as I had access to at that time).

In general it is another place where SGI/Cray came together to
improve and fillin areas to improve the overall machine/software
across all machines.
