Small states have enough senators to cripple the rest of the country. They want massive new spending and massive new tax cuts. They want free stuff and this means they want debt. Dems raise taxes and pay for their spending. They're called socialists. Republicans cut taxes and never raise taxes and they're called pro-business. It's intellectual dishonesty. It's hard to imagine being that dumb and immoral. Everyone wants something from the government. The rich want tax cuts and a lot of loopholes, the rancher wants to graze his cattle on government land, the baker doesn't want to make a cake for a gay couple (because Christ taught him to hate), and the poor guy wants a few pennies to feed his baby some milk. But how do we pay for it? Given a choice between getting everything free and passing debt to my generation, most people want free stuff and forcing us to pay for it. I suppose I'd want the same if I were them. Who doesn't want free stuff?
