Shane:

Many many thanks to you for posting the conference call highlights. It seems CC went very well. Why do you think any move up should come back down? If these con-artists (i.e. analysts) really want to make some money for their big clients they will start/accumulating LSI shares slowly as of tomorrow so in 2-3 months they can issue a strong buy for the final 20% push in order to get their big clients out and put a nice smile on their faces and a hefty bonus in theor own pockets!

Anyway, as I said one of these days/months/years LSI shares will be trading at much much much much higher prices, and hopefully not too far from now!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

Shane, thanks a ton for the great summation....

I'm surprised that nobody asked about the next gen. Playstation chips... I know that with the current unit selling like it is that Sony pushed back the development of the next unit, but I can also remember LSI taking it in the pants not too long ago when "everyone" (read analysts) were worried about them losing to a Japanese competitor.

All in all... for any person with a '99 or beyond horizon, you have to be encouraged by both the earnings and the CC. I'm hoping to add to my position during some dip in the next few weeks. Maybe I'll get it around $20, but it might not get that low.

Shane,

Thanks for all your notes! That was a good report! I see that you don't expect anything from it. That's good. It's the best position to be in, everything considered. Expect nothing, and then see.

I still like that 24, and I'd have no trouble seeing 25, but imho the SLC might have to wait for their share a little while longer. Let's see how it opens.

I almost can't think at all just now. Got hit by an IOM brick (it really got trashed after hours/down 30%!) and I've got to figure my way out of it by tomorrow.

Not fun,
E

Shane and others:
I have been reading for months that LU is very interested in getting
even more involved in networking via an acquisition of ASND or Bay or
possibly CS. Would it make any sense from LU's perspective to buy a
chip company such as LSI ? Perhaps LU would sell off those segments of
LSI that did not interest them. Or is LU only interested in equipment ?
