We're pretty protected from this type of North Wind. Perhaps they blow right over the top of our valley. Here is the wind profile for Mt. Diable in the East Bay. Just shy of hurricane strength. I'll have to check as a friend in Malibu who saved his house from the fire a year ago said they would see stronger winds tonight.
