Not if the stations have an emergency generator. The station in town does. I don't think the EV charging station has storage. I hear folks north of town will be shut off Sat. and Sun AM, cuz they will bringing in new transmission towers by chopper. They did that across from me a few years ago. I haven't been told that I'm in the zone.

Are you worried about the food in your refrigerator going bad or your house burning down?

But then again if you have pv and storage you don't need the grid in the vast majority of places on the planet.

Photons keeps my Tesla Model S charged up at home.

No gas stations needed!
