Who said anything about home schooling.

I thought the goal was to shut down government schools.

There are plenty of private schools and the free market would find a solution.

Okay if you think it is a bridge too far, how about we shut down the Federal Department of Education.

That should be a good start.

More than half the population is not qualified to home school.
Is that in an absolute sense or in comparison to public schools? I think a lot more than 1/2 can do better than public schools, especially with the resources available today.
