I would take Mayor Pete in a nanosecond. It will be hard to overcome bias against being married to a man. Maybe a few decades away in many Democratic and independent voting demographics as communities. I feel Mayor Pete would be a great Secretary of State or Senator, on his way to Vice President and then President in 2028 or 2032. Van Jones last night indicated skepticism of a 37 year old Mayor as President. That pissed me off. The founders said 35 years and older to President. They could have said over 40, or 50... or 70 if that was their intention. Van Jones is a mixed bag. While I could easily support Buttigieg but I still have to look up the spelling of his last name. :-)
