They had to be functionally retarded to simultaneously believe in an omniscient and all powerful God that created a being that could successfully rebel against their God in his place of residence.

Well, anything is possible for God. He can even make a rock that is too heavy for him to lift! Ours is not to understand, ours is just to obey and walk in faith!
