Robert, I can't answer for Yousef but the last link I read on the subject said that TSMC was using a 5-layer process to create CYRX CPUs ... described in a manner distinctly similar to that offered previously by IBM. The fact that they are doing this successfully at 0.25u shows that they cain't be so dumb as some have implied.
