Teachers in inner cities have tremendous stress.

The students suffer. The community suffers.

There is a flight to segregated schools (not only race, but class.)

Graduating high school in my area is a big deal ("walkin the stage.")

Lets start with solving problems like this. Every kid who does not have a chance results in what economists call "social waste."

We agree about the importance of education generally.
