Yes!! Smart and savvy management don't spring big surprises like that to the street.

Yes it was painfully obvious to shareholders that got to enjoy the 12 point drop in COHR's price.

The CEO spoke only about the medical portion of their business and said ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING about their move into telecommunications and lithography. He let the interviewer (I think it was Mark Haines) direct the course of the discussion while savvy CEO's would have politely answered questions but also worked their own agenda in at the same time. Aside from that he had a very thick accent that was hard to understand but I won't hold that against him.
