Ken,

>> Not so fast! So far, the only thing to be done is that the ICON will be invisible. As a passing note, I see that Netscape will now be releasing its' browser Free Of Charge. (Consumer WINS )<<

It is only a temporary win. I believe the consumer will lose from these tactics in the end. I am using Netscape on Linux, and its the only decent browser for Linux. If they go under, I'm out of luck. But since they are releasing the source code for the community, I may profit from it. The Linux community has done wonderful things to give me "free" software, and I'd love to see them tune this browser up a little. The fact that a for profit company is being forced to give away their product for free tells me that something is wrong in the industry and competition is not healthy in this area.

They waited TOO late, the billster still has all the right ideas in business no matter what the technical side is doing. So few techs REALLY understand this and NO APPLE people ever did (grin) HAIL to the great cornholio! Crasher of Phone Systems everywhere!
