and now for some humor...

PS my power stayed on the whole time and I just saw pictures of houses some in my family own up on the Pine Flat Road that survived the fire... excellent defensible space and water tanks with fire hose attachments so pumpers can hook up to defend the house from embers... Cal Fire used it for staging which helped too.

Buffett's only up 8% YTD... what's up with that?

He's only doing half the Dow.... I wonder what stocks are hurting him now.

My stocks are crushing it now but not as much as in 1999 when Buffett's lost 19%... we are usually quite a bit out of sync but now that he's bought Amazon and Crapple and Wells Fargo, it is more about stock selection.

I'm up 21.3% YTD with 60% in stocks for my "Geezer Explore Portfolio" that is 60:40 give or take. Buffett's got a lot of cash too so that is a lousy excuse.

BTW, I checked Hussman's portfolios... I wonder if he has any money but family funds in it these days!
