This was addressed in the CC. Incremental advertizing is expected to be funded by delays in planned price reductions, deferring some hiring, and accelerating cost reduction efforts.

Unless one believes that consumer advertizing for what is intended to be a mass-market item will be fruitless, the focus on marketing should be viewed as a positive.

I agree, the truth is out there, probably in between our two positions.

I have resolved to more carefully consider the bear arguments in the future. I think it's always important to realize that I could be wrong.
