BYND burgers are beyond unhealthy.

100 calories more than a real burger made with at least 36 chemicals

Beyond Burger -

I had bought a pound at my local supermarket. Made burgers. Not surprisingly, it looked weird uncooked, nothing like meat and handled "funny." To me it tasted meaty had some of the meaty feel which I think of as gristle, but as you point out, it felt like it had some kind of filler of some kind in it. It wasn't pasty, but lacked the "medium" texture of meat, though it did have some juiciness.

The real shock was when I tried a burger cold the next day. It was like all the magic had disappeared and all the disparate pieces revealed themselves, and it wasn't pretty. It also upset my stomach. Eat 'em hot!

Word on the street is that the Impossible Burger is better. Haven't tried one yet...
