last time I checked, western Canada has 2nd largest reserves of uranium, 3rd largest reserves of oil and natural gas, 2nd largest reserves of potash, agriculture, forestry and some of the smartest and hardest working people anywhere. Canada is a millstone around westerners' necks. Imagine all that with only 5 million people. We can easily pay for our own police, health care, education, military etc.
