Yes, the libertarian candidate likely pulled more votes from Bevin than from Beshear.

The euphoria over the Kentucky governor race is generally misplaced. Bevin is uniquely hated... so much so, that several heavily Republican counties went for Beshear. I don't think that election can be used as any kind of marker for 2020. Plus it looks like the GOP Legislature may pull a fast one anyway. Wouldn't put it past them. They're probably consulting with ALEC lawyers even as we speak.
