Tom thanks so much for the ideas. Your inputs and Bernie Tate's are simply invaluable over here to us.

There is so much "white noise" in the investment world, at that it is almost impossible to read the situation in Asia from a distance unless you can go out each day and walk the streets and sniff the cooking fires.

tom,
You mentioned KRP, another company I really like and have made money on. Its well managed by an industry pro and their balance sheet looks pretty good. They are presently suffering the disk drive blues but look for these guys to give hutchinson et al a run for their money on the reemergence of that sector. I will be back into KRP as soon as the signals are right which, IMHO is not too far off. I bought QNTM this week.

tom: Is it ture that Suharto is about to be re-elected with the support of the largest Moslem party? Also heard about lootings in Java. Is this true, if so is it just limited to Java?
