Sorry Redhead, my first real experience in the market didn't start til 1977 as a shiny new broker. Know quite a bit about a dow 600-1000 market with 30 million share day volumes and waiting a month or so for a 20% gain. Do remember Nixon supporters wondering "what's the big deal?" Whoops, there i go getting serious again---gotta find my donut cushion. Things built on horsesh#t and feathers-have a way of working to their natural conclusions and this one should be no different. Regarding Nixon and the market, Nixon's second term, which was coincided with the Watergate Scandal, also coincided with the bear market of '74. It lasted until Reganomics took hold in '81. Sorry to be the bearer of such news. However, Alan Greenspan wasn't in the Federal Reserve back then, so we may catch a break. Why is it that I knew Clinton was a lying philander back in 1993 and it seems to be such a shock to people now? Am I the only one who believed G. Flowers?
