Reality is they can't get their hands on anything to release. If they were at the hearings, they would have all they need. The Democrats aren't releasing partial transcripts, they are just attesting to what happened. The Republicans can do the same. You seem to feel that the Republicans should have more rights than the Democrats. But truth is they are unable to depose any witnesses they would want anyhow. How do you know that? So far, the only ones rejected are ones that would turn the hearings into a circus. Besides, the ones most likely to have positive things to say that is related to the matters at hand have been ordered by the White House not to appear.

No favorable witnesses allowed. What favorable witnesses do you suppose there might be? I saw that some R or other suggested the whistle blower and Biden's son but neither of them has direct knowledge of the matter. Same for the great aunt in Paris with opinions on wine. Further witnesses to the transcript and to the sidebar "diplomacy" have been restrained from testifying. Do you know of anyone with direct knowledge who is willing to testify?
